You know what’s interesting? By Dr. Richard Reikowski, Au.D Family Hearing and Balance Center

“It’s all really interesting I guess”, says a patient coming to a true understanding of today’s digital hearing aids. “I had no idea that technology to improve my hearing was so advanced. To imagine connecting to my iphone for phone calls to stream automatically to my hearing devices is fascinating! I can even, with a push of a button on my iphone app adjust for background noise and speech clarity. That’s easy! I really didn’t understand how Bluetooth and my cell phone can help me to hear better, but now it makes sense!

It’s as simple as being automatic in all that they do. The digital hearing aids make decisions based on my hearing loss, the environment acoustics, as well as the speech and noise in a  room. I am so pleased with all of these things and having internal rechargeable lithium ion batteries, that last for well upwards of 6 years or longer, is wonderful!”

After hearing such an amazing perspective on this patient’s observations, who’s ready for a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie?
