When I can’t hear, …..my whole life turns around” By Dr. Richard Reikowski, Au.D Family Hearing and Balance Center Akron, Ohio

A patient came in today, after losing one of his digital hearing devices, and made the comment, “When I can’t hear, my whole life turns around.” He said that hearing people and what they have to say is so very important to him. He felt that improving his hearing loss is such a high priority to him and that with only one ear improved he was missing a great deal. I am glad to be a part of helping him to regain the connection with others. That’s what it’s all about. Helping others to achieve their life goals is a privilege. Being disconnected, by not hearing what others have to say can add such stress and anxiety to people.

We remain encouraged by what the hearing industry and clinical research is showing as solutions for hearing loss and tinnitus. We are actively seeking and offering solutions for each patient.
