What is family? By a 4 year old….. Dr. Richard Reikowski, Au.D Family Hearing and Balance Center

What is family? A 4 year old says, “It’s when everyone sits at the table to eat, even when you don’t like what you have to eat.”

This is quite a profound answer by this patient’s great grandchild. This young girl’s great grandparents beamed with pride in her response of their family connection and love they share together. The time they spend around the dinner table is one that strengthens the connection and love between each other.

The question and response was in the newspaper commending this young child’s thoughts….

What is Family Hearing and Balance Center? I would have to say that our practice foundation is on the principles of helping others to have a better quality of life. We strive to have the qualities that hold families together among our staff and patients. We listen, sit across the table or desk, we sit side by side, we share stories, we teach, we learn, we enjoy a nice cup of coffee or tea over some of the best conversations! We are here to be of help to one’s hearing loss, tinnitus, and balance concerns.

Children can be some of the best teachers!
