What if a Cochlear Implant could…

What if?…. There are so many questions associated with the cochlear implant. Is it for me and my hearing loss? Could it help my husband, wife, or child to hear better? How well can it improve a profound hearing loss? Is it difficult to adjust to? How long is it before it’s activated, after the surgery? Can people see the implant? Is it worth it? Does insurance cover the cost? I wear hearing aids and they just don’t seem loud or clear enough, is the implant for me? These questions, and very good questions at that, go on…..

Our practice strives to provide clear and understandable answers regarding the cochlear implant. Dr. Kaylee Porter heads our implant program. She is well trained and versed to provide exceptional care to each patient considering the cochlear implant. We are here to help you.
