To hear………How far will you travel? By Richard Reikowski, Au.D Family Hearing and Balance Center Akron, Ohio

We attempt to do what is best in each situation we are in. To do this, we know the reason we are doing things, has the best focus and aim. I saw a patient yesterday that had, over two months ago, moved more than two and a half hours away from our office. I told him that I was so pleased to see him and exclaimed that he had traveled so far to see me. He said, “Why wouldn’t I ? I know you and you know me, and I trust you”. He made my day and made me think about the many positive reinforcements we receive each day. I am fortunate to have close relationships with our patients and find it an honor to be offered an opportunity to help people to hear better. We help people to live better, enjoy life more fully, and to engage in life.
