Teaching an old dog new tricks…. By Dr. Richard Reikowski, Au.D Family Hearing and Balance Center

This was what was said by a patient in her 80’s about the new digital and lithium ion rechargeable hearing aids. She was amazed at how simple they are to charge at night and felt not having to change batteries was an amazing thing! With her dexterity and vision concerns getting potentially worse, the ease of the rechargability and automatic processing was a relief!

She loves how she will be able to find them simply by look at her app, if they ever became lost. Of course, we hope they don’t go missing. We notice digital hearing processing continuing to solve problem areas of hearing and understanding and it is a true pleasure to help those with hearing loss. Make it a great day and help others to do so!

I have lost so many things. I should tag everything so they can find each other when I can’t.
