Sharing life’s moments with Don….. By Dr. Richard Reikowski, Au.D Family Hearing and Balance Center

Did you ever meet someone who you can simply start talking to and the time gets away from you? Well, that someone came to visit me today. I have known Don for years and what did he bring in to show me was his book that he published of some of his memorable life stories. I am so impressed with Don and the intentions of his book. His goal was to share with his family and grandchildren various moments of his life that might bring meaning to them, as much as it brought to him. In hindsight, as he recently retired, he began contemplating the importance of life and he truly felt that their significance would mean something to those that he loves. Things that were difficult, fun, and emotional in life is what we all encounter. But, for Don, it meant him making it a priority to document these “life moments” on record for his family and for all those who read his book.

I highly recommend checking out his book titled “Not Dead Yet” by Don Rambacher.

It’s always nice catching up with a friend that you share great memories, conversations, and family stories. Thanks Don!
