Music and Hearing… How does it enhance our worship? By Dr. Richard Reikowski, Au.D Family Hearing and Balance Center Akron, Ohio

I met these really cool men “of Faith” today in our office. Their goal was to have ear mold impressions taken, to then have custom in-ear-monitors made for worship services. They are each musicians, as well as the Minister of Music, at nearby Maranatha Bible Church, in the Akron area. As we talked they shared how “leading worship through music” conveys a greater closeness to God and those in the pews experience their Faith, in a special way as well. I loved their description of how music plays an integral and spiritual part of our life. I could see that they truly believed in what they said and are truly genuine in what they do for Maranatha Bible Church. We talked briefly, I wish we had more time however, about our own lives and a bit about our families. Such a great moment it was for me to see Christian examples of men, living a Faith filled life.

“To hear, allows the opportunity to take in sounds and emotions of our life.”
