Sometimes our patients need a little extra care during their appointments and that may make us late for the next person. Sometimes, due to mobility, it may take a patient longer time to get out of their car to walk into the office, or if they are using a walker or wheel chair. But with our compassionate staff, we explain to the patients who are waiting for their appointments that we’re sorry that the doctor is running late, as the patient he or she is seeing now just needs a little extra care today.
Thank you for sharing this Gail! Gail has been with us for nearly 15 years serving as our front office patient coordinator, in our Northfield practice.
You are welcome! When I explain it this way to patients who are waiting, it really does help them understand why we’re running late.
Thanks Gail! I like your thoughts!
We want our patients leaving here satisfied with the service they received!
