Levo….Training the brain to ignore the ringing or tinnitus

The Levo system is intended is to help people, and their specific tinnitus, to become more “tolerable”. We strive to help lessen the attention a patient has on the unwanted noises in their ears. The Levo tinnitus treatment is quite unique as it delivers treatment while sleeping. During the nighttime, when the surroundings are quiet, is when a patients tinnitus is most noticed and bothersome. The Levo is very interactive in the delivery and fitting process as the patient themselves lead the course of the treatment by matching their specific tinnitus quality, pitch, and volume.

The brain is quite adaptable and accepting of various courses of treatment for tinnitus. With Levo, we are presenting a mirror sound of tinnitus that helps the brain to “habituate” and the end result is the patients tinnitus lessens. Helping one to distance their direct focus or attention from their unwanted sounds in their ears or head is a wonderful step. We are a provider of the Levo treatment system and are gathering outcome data to best help patients where this is applicable.
