“Let me give you an example…”

“Before I improved my hearing” a patient was telling me, “I would never have heard this sound that happened at work. I was walking in our shop near pallets and a conveyor system of belts and pulleys. Boxes move from one end of the building to another on this system of conveyor belts. In one area, the conveyor inclines and this one box didn’t go up the belt, instead it kept flipping backward. Therefore, the box became an obstruction to the boxes behind. The boxes bumped into it, as they backed up, they began to fall off. I was surprised and very pleased that I could hear the box flipping over and over trying to get up the conveyor. This allowed me time to go and correct the situation.

Now with great hearing, I feel much more connected to my surroundings at work and everywhere. Prior, I would never have heard the box that was the issue. It may sound small but noticing this issue solves countless problems that can develop at work. I am very happy,” he said!

I am equally happy that he shared this experience and how is life is made better with his new hearing abilities!

Great story! So glad that a big build-up could be avoided thanks to the help of hearing aids.
