“It’s Sibling Rivalry”…

So the story unfolds…”It’s sibling rivalry with my sister.”

(LOL)

She and I each have the same type of hearing loss, and so I have a BiCros hearing aid just like her. Meaning, a transmitter is worn on my poorer ear and sends the sound to the better ear. She went on to say, “Of course, you know how this works. It’s because my sister got hearing aids, I did the same. The funny thing is is that my sister has a poor ear opposite mine so when we sit together we can have our better ears facing each other. That’s how we used to sit when we were growing up while eating or at school to hear each other better. That was in the past before the hearing was improved. I’m so glad I did as we do lots of things together, including our hearing.”

Hearing loss can feel isolating, how nice that you two can have each other to turn to.
