Is there a need or a want?

Is there a need or a want? This came up as we discussed connecting a patient’s hearing devices to their smartphone. The patient has quite advanced digital hearing aids and the internal digital processing can effectively manage noisy and quiet areas with ease. She formerly had significant difficulties hearing speech, with her older hearing aids. She felt, if I had a need or a want to work with my cell phone I may do so but for now I am so very impressed with the quality of sound and speech clarity. Streaming phone calls is not needed. Life is good she felt!

Alles gute…all is good! Many simply want their hearing aids to clarify speech, manage noise, and to simply help them to hear in all areas, without the need to make changes. I can agree. Yes, we can achieve this.

It’s amazing how hearing aids can be adjusted to the patients preference. If they don’t want it connected to their phones, it doesn’t need to be!

I had absolutely no idea what the scrabble tiles were about. I took 10 minutes trying to make words out of them and then found out they are the words, it was just latin. Funny. I am glad I read the article. I learned a lot.

Yes, the words are German actually meaning “all is good”. Glad you read it also. Thank you Dale!
