Now that’s a creative way for a spouse to describe how she helps her husband with his hearing loss. She went on to say, I help relay what the waitress asks at a restaurant, in social area, or even at church. I do my best to be available to “translate” what was said at a meeting, with friends, and when someone speaks quietly. It’s what I do. I sometimes get frustrated, yes this is true, but I understand he is quite bothered by his hearing difficulties as well as I, but I do my best.
I am very happy that their family doctor referred them to our practice. It’s what we do. We connect peoples lives back together to best communicate. Improving this gentleman’s hearing not only helps him but his wife as well. It offers them each greater freedoms with a sense of confidence to be in different areas, and to know that one another is going to be ok.
That sounds like a full time job! It’s great that we can help out and give her a rest.
For sure, glad we can help.
That’s adorable!
:))
I could use one of those.
