I swam for ten minutes…Is that ok?

Yes, it most certainly is as I chatted with a patient in her 80’s. Why do you ask? She went on to say that she had her hearing aids on when she was swimming! I said, really? She said, yes and they’re still working! We talked more and since they are so comfortable and she often forgets they’re on, that it was easy too forget to take them off before swimming. We laughed a bit as she knows it’s not the best of ideas to swim or even shower with them on. LOL!

I checked them over and all of the open ports such as the microphone areas and they seem fine. I shared that we will send them in to have them evaluated and as necessary replaced under warranty. We’ll watch out for them and ensure they’re functioning as they should. I appreciate patients when they share these situations so that we can best help.
