I set a record today!

I swam 26 laps in the companion pool at the local rec center. Oh, by the way, I discovered that I still had hearing aids in my ears. Amazingly, they still work fine!

I was happy to hear this. The new digital hearing aids have much better Goretex protection against moisture, sweat, and damp environments. To say the least, swimming with them isn’t recommended. LOL! We will keep an eye on the functioning of the hearing aids over time, and while they are still under warranty, will have them evaluated at the lab to ensure a repair isn’t needed.

Thank you TQ for sharing this story!

I’ve had patients say they get into the shower forgetting they have hearing aids in, and they still work after!
