Some phrases I hear are pretty cool. I live on the corner of “what?” and “huh?” caught my attention. I asked more to the wife of our patient and she shared that, with her mother and husband having a severe hearing loss, that “huh?” and “what?” are a part of the daily conversation. She said this was particularly the case, before they chose to improve their hearing, she was repeating herself quite regularly and frustrations were becoming a common concern. I had to laugh and also share how our practice is pleased to be able to help them to hear so much better.
It’s so frustrating, on both ends, when we can’t communicate with our loved ones. I’m so glad we can alleviate that stress!
Amen to that Elizabeth!
Nice
🙂
So glad we could help them. They must feel so much better!
Yes, I am also glad we could help!
