I have to tell you a beautiful story….. By Dr. Richard Reikowski, Au.D Family Hearing and Balance Center

This was a wonderful story coming from a patients daughter during their visit…. She started with “I have to tell you a beautiful story”.

I was playing scrabble with my mom and the windows were open, and mom said it’s so quiet. I said, “Mom, don’t you hear the birds chirping?” She hadn’t, but quickly went to put her digital hearing aids in and immediately she could hear the birds. Before, they didn’t exist…..

She and her mom discussed with amazement how much her new digital hearing aids help her, and they both communicate easier and successfully.  These two ladies have a closer and connected relationship, with the use of her hearing devices. Her daughter loves this! As we chatted further, many new sounds with great meaning was noted such as hearing her granddaughter at her recent graduation.

Many moments in life are so meaningful and important to hear!
