“I didn’t know you did impressions”….LOL

After discussing taking impressions of the ears for custom molds, he commented with a grin, “I didn’t know you did impressions”. We both laughed! Custom molds are used to best help a patients hearing needs for various needs. When necessary, we take impressions of the ears using silicone material. The impressions are then sent to the hearing labs to make custom molds to attach to hearing devices, for swim molds, or even for noise plugs. There are many benefits of custom molds such as for those with sever hearing loss, acoustic/hearing needs, and even for those with decreased dexterity.

Enjoying funny moments like this with the people we serve makes for a great day! Leaving work and having experienced the joy of helping others with their hearing, reducing awareness of tinnitus, or to assist with balance related issues…is a real joy!

Custom-made hearing aids are perfect for those with poor hand dexterity, Dyspraxia, tremors, Neuropathy in fingers, or Carpal Tunnel. Face Masks won’t interfere with handling these hearing aids. They are easier to manipulate and are rechargeable, so no more tiny batteries to handle or lose on the floor! The hypoallergenic material won’t irritate ears for those with skin allergies. These are A Win-Win!

Monica, Yes, that’s true. Also retention is a great plus.
