Hearing Aid: Lost and found in a most unique way……By Gail Reagan, Cardinal Hearing Centers

We had a unique experience to share with our readers…..

A hearing lab called the other day. Someone found a hearing aid and mailed it to them. They checked the serial number on the hearing aid with their records and found that it was assigned to one of our patients. I called our patient and told him that someone found his hearing aid and mailed it to the manufacturer. We just received a call from them, and it’s still in good working condition. He couldn’t believe it! He has been without it for a while and has been getting by with only one. I told him that the hearing lab will mail it to our office, and as soon as it arrives, I will call him to schedule an appointment to come in to make sure it still fits good and he can hear with it. He said he can’t wait 🙂
