Eyeglasses for those in need……Dr. Richard Reikowski, Au.D Family Hearing and Balance Center

It’s ever humbling to receive used eyeglasses from  patients and their families. People are so giving, kind, and generous in offering their eyeglasses, that are no longer worn, for those in need. In particular, the other day friends of mine handed me a ziploc bag with several pairs of prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses to donate to the vision missions.

We have been collecting used eyeglasses and donated hearing aids for many years. We then, in turn, send them to I Care International who will ensure that they are thoroughly cleaned, labeled with prescription of the lense, and then ensure that those in need of eyeglasses receive them.

Thank you so very much to those that have donated eyeglasses and hearing aids!
