Dr. Reikowski’s Practice Collaborates with GN Resound to Give The Gift Hearing

The gift of better hearing can be lifechanging.  We are so excited to donate a set of ReSound ONETM hearing aids to John Friend as part of the @gnresound Gift of Hearing campaign.

Join us in celebrating with Mr. Friend as he begins his new journey with better hearing!

Left to right: Dr. Kaylee Patton, John Friend and Family

Below, see Mr. Friend’s discussion with Dr. Patton after he received his new hearing devices.

Q: When did you discover you had hearing loss?

A: Over twenty-five years ago, as long as I can remember, I’ve had trouble hearing.

Q: Did a family member, friend, or colleague suggest problems with hearing?

A: I live with my brother and have trouble hearing him.

Q: Is this your first hearing aid?

A:  No, we have bought multiple pairs and they’ve been lost because they don’t fit well. My brother used to have to use a screwdriver to adjust one of the aids and we always had to adjust them.

Q: How was your first impression of Resound ONE hearing aids?

A: They are crystal clear and amazing! I was surprised we didn’t need to make more adjustments.

Q: What problems did you experience before trying Resound ONE?

A: I couldn’t hear so I wasn’t sure what was going on. It was very hard to communicate. I have had 11 back surgeries, so I don’t want to have to worry about my hearing.

Q: What do you think of the sound quality of Resound ONE hearing aids?

A: It is so much clearer than the aids I have had.

Q: Is there anything you can do now, which you would not have done before?

A:  Everything! Even easy things were hard to do because of my hearing.

Q: Would you recommend Resound ONE to others and if so, why?

A: So far, yes! I am excited to see how things change with wearing them more.

We are honored to serve this community, helping Mr. Friend and many others address their hearing loss to Hear More, Do More, Be More.
