Cochlear Implant thoughts….By Kelly Workman, Au.D Cardinal Hearing Centers

I had the opportunity to ask Dr. Workman this question. “What is the most unique thing that many may not be aware of regarding Cochlear Implants?”

“I think many people look at Cochlear Implants as a last resort. But really, it is opening a whole new door to access hearing again, NOT just a last resort! And that is the most important thing I want people to know and understand.”

Thank you for sharing! Dr. Kelly heads up our Cochlear Implant program and is well versed to be able to help with this area of expertise!

    Kelly,
I really enjoyed your perspective on the implant and how it is a part of the process towards better hearing and not the last resort.
    Thank you!

It’s so exciting to be able to see people hear better than they ever could have with hearing aids! Looking forward to what future technology brings us.
